This is an online journal about raising baby naturally, from day one. This site will be packed with information about everything from midwifery, natural herbs, ecstatic birthing, organic whole food nutrition and all kinds of other goodness, along with personal insights into pregnancy, motherhood and relationships.

About Mama J
Mama J, aka Julie Norris, is a community visionary and proud mother to Maya Juniper Rose, who was delivered painlessly at home in August 2009. Involved in many social enterprises in Orlando, Julie wants to make the world a better place by being the change she wishes to see. She loves live music, delicious food and watching the world transform into a more peaceful and harmonious place to be. Some of her projects are listed below.

Front Porch Radio is a local talk variety show which spotlights folks who are making a difference in OurLando in the indie music, art, business and eco communities. Slow Food is good, clean and fair food. We believe that the food we eat should taste good; that it should be produced in a clean way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health; and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work, and that all people should have access to this good and clean food.
